There are six main categories in the summary staging system. To learn more about a stage category, click a stage name in the list below.
- Code 0: In situ
- Code 1: Localized
- Codes 2-4: Regional
- Code 7: Distant
- Codes 8 and 9: Benign/Borderline and Unknown if Extension or Metastasis
