Seminoma of the testis is highly curable with radiation therapy.
Radiation therapy can be administered to the abdominal and pelvic nodes, mediastinum and/or supraclavicular nodes prophylactically or in lieu of a lymph node dissection for lower stage disease.

Hockey stick technique--radiation to the pelvic, periaortic, hilar and suprahilar lymph nodes. The fields form the shape of a hockey stick.
Chemotherapy
Combinations of actinomycin, adriamycin, bleomycin, cisplatinum, cyclophosphamide, etoposide, vinblastine
Examples:
PEB or BEP (platinum, bleomycin, VP-16)
CVB (platinum, velban, bleomycin)
PVB (cisplatin, vinblastine, bleomycin)
VAB-6 or VAB VI (vinblastine, dactinomycin, bleomycin, cytoxan, cisplatin)
EP (etoposide, cisplatin)
VPV (vinblastine, cisplatin and etoposide)
POMB/ACE (cisplatin, vincristine, methotrexate, bleomycin, dactinomycin, cytoxan, etoposide)
Carboplatin, etoposide, bleomycin (under clinical evaluation)
Hormones (not shown to be useful in testicular cancer)
Biological Response Modifiers (under clinical evaluation)
