Lungs: Decreased breath sounds and wheezes on right

Chest X-ray: Large right pleural effusion with complete opacification of lower lobe of the right lung. 4 to 5 cm mass in R upper lobe, probable malignant neoplasm.
08/23/XX Chest X-ray: Mass effect in R suprahilar area. Ill-defined infiltrate, right lower lung field.
10/15/XX CT chest: Large suprahilar mass = 5.0 x 4 x 3 cm on right with some calcifications. Obvious carcinoma in 2 enlarged mediastinal LNs, 1 of which is greater than 2 cm in diameter.
   
Scopes 11/01/XX Bronchoscopy: Right lower lobe appeared edematous; large friable adenocarcinoma in R upper lobe.
   
Laboratory

Alk phos: 102 (normal 69 -241).
   
Operative Findings

Pathological Reports

Cytology: Undiff adenocarcinoma in pleural fluid, three specimens.
11/01/XX Bronchoscopic biopsy: Small fragment of R upper lobe with necrosis and anaplastic adenoca.
   
Treatment 11/11/XX Chemotherapy: began cisplatin and Velban (vinblastine).
