Follow-up Process: Unit Review and Quiz

Unit Review
Here is what we have learned from this unit:
- Follow-up should be generated each month, with a list
of patients due for follow-up compiled and compared to hospital
admission and outpatient records.
- Attempts should be made periodically to contact all patients
who do not have current follow-up.
- When follow-up letters are returned, the return address
on the envelope should be verified against the current address
recorded in the registry.
- If a patient has multiple primary cancers, all records
should be updated with the date of last contact. Each primary
cancer should be updated independently.
