EXAMINATION DESIRED: Laryngogram
REASON FOR EXAM: Carcinoma of larynx with dysphagia
REPORT:
Multiple films demonstrate a mass of the left true
cord which almost completely fills the left ventricle
and involves the false cord as well.
The tumor extends posteriorly to the arytenoids and
anteriorly close to the commissure but does not appear
to cross the commissure.
There is some subglottic extension in the immediate
vicinity of the true cord. I believe this to be posterior.
The evidence is not entirely conclusive.
The remainder of the region is normal.
IMPRESSION:
Tumor extensively involving the left true cord, the
ventricle and false cord with probable subglottic
extension posteriorly.
